- Straightening and smoothing irons should be used only on clean, dry hair.
- Plug the flat iron into an electrical outlet and press and hold On/Off button.
- Use the Heat Adjustment buttons (+/-) to select a heat level. Once selected, the temperature will blink for approx. 30 seconds and will be ready to use when the light stops flashing.

• The smoothing process does not require overlapping; separate each section of hair and work on it as indicated above.
• Allow hair to cool before combing or brushing.
• Repeat the process until you have achieved the look you desire.
