- Straightening and smoothing irons should be used only on clean, dry hair.
- Plug the flat iron into an electrical outlet and press and hold On/Off Button.
- The SMOOTH BRILLIANCE flat iron automatically sets to 285˚F.
- Use the Heat Adjustment Buttons (+ / -) to select the desired temperature.
- To lock in the temperature, double click the On/Off Button and a lock symbol will appear.
- CAUTION: Flat irons operate at high temperatures when used on high settings. When using for the first time, begin with the LOWEST setting. Please read all instructions carefully before using.
- STYLING TIPS
• To begin styling, separate a 2-inch section of hair. Gently place hair between the plates and clamp down firmly on the handles.
• Once the plates are heated, carefully slide the flat iron along the isolated section, making sure the hair is heated and straightened all the way to the ends.
• Carefully release pressure on the handles and let hair slip out from the plates.
• The smoothing process does not require overlapping; separate each section of hair and work on it as indicated above.
• Allow hair to cool before combing, brushing or touching.
• Repeat the process until you have achieved the look you desire.
• When styling is complete, turn the flat iron OFF by pressing On/Off Button. Unplug it from the electrical outlet and let it cool completely before storing.
